ASIST 11 Workshop English - 2 Day
On September 21 - 22, 2024, Jacob Crouch Suicide Prevention Services, a branch of The Family Tree is providing a FREE 2 Day ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) Workshop in Lafayette, LA. ASIST is a two-day in-person workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations. At an ASIST workshop, you’ll learn how to recognize when someone may be thinking about suicide, and how to provide a skilled intervention and develop a safety plan with the person to connect them to further support. This workshop will increase your willingness, confidence, and capacity to provide suicide first aid. Participants must attend both days to receive credit.
