ASIST 11 Workshop English - 2 Day
Suicide is preventable. Anyone can make a difference.
ASIST is a two-day in-person interactive workshop in suicide first-aid. Created by LivingWorks, this workshop teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to be SAFE FOR NOW and create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Although ASIST is used by professionals, participants don’t need any formal training to attend the workshop as ASIST can be learned and used by anyone!
The ASIST training is facilitated by Glenn Schroeder through his company True Listening(www.truelistening.ca). Glenn is a therapist and professional facilitator in Winnipeg for the last 25 years.
