ASIST 11 Workshop English - 2 Day
ASIST is the most widely used suicide intervention model in the world. Although many professional caregivers use ASIST, anyone 16 or older can learn these life-saving skills. In this two days interactive workshop, participants will learn how to:
- Reflect on how their attitudes and beliefs about suicide affect their intervention role.
- Identify people with thoughts of suicide.
- Conduct a safety assessment.
- Develop a safeplan focused keeping the person safe for now.
This ASIST workshop is facilitated by Fiona and Nadine, who have been working in youth mental health for over 10+ years.
