ASIST 11 Training at Lines for Life
ASIST 11 Workshop English - 2 Day
This training is open to anyone interested. The skills participants learn in ASIST can benefit care providers, educators, peer counselors, and community members alike. Continued Education Credit: 12.0 NASW CEs for Social Workers, LPCS; alcohol-and-drug-prevention-and-treatment providers receive MHACBO credit. This tow-day intensive, interactive workshop provides participants with the skill and practice to assist in suicide intervention. This class is composed of lectures, small group discussions, and interactive exercises. ASIST also includes demonstrations and role-playing of common suicide intervention situations, allowing participants to practice their newly learned suicide intervention skills in a supportive environment.
