Schizophrenia Society Presents ASIST
ASIST 11 Workshop English - 2 Day

The Schizophrenia Society of Saskatchewan is hosting an iteration of Living Work's ASIST course for free to the public of Saskatoon. We are asking for $20 to hold your seat for the course, these funds will go toward snacks and beverages over the duration of the 2 days of the course. The course will take place March 16 and 17 from 8:30 AM - 5 PM (please ignore the time listed under date and time as it cant be adjusted). PARTICIPANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. 


Over the course of 2 days, you will learn the skills to provide guidance and suicide first-aid intervention, work with someone to develop a personalized suicide safety plan to keep safe-for-now and the actions required to implement it, and connect with further help. The ASIST course is a in-person skills-based workshop. You will dive in-depth to learn a 6-task suicide first-aid model through presentations, interactive discussion, and featured videos. This course also includes extensive opportunities for skills practice through trainer facilitated workgroups.
