ASIST 10 Workshop English - 2 Day
Join us for ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) training at Giant Supermarket Conference Center on Tuesday January 9th and Wednesday January 10th, 2024 8:30am- 5:00pm.
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is an internationally acclaimed two-day interactive training program in suicide first-aid. ASIST is listed on the National Suicide Prevention Registry of Evidence-Based Programs. ASIST is designed to empower you with the hands-on skills to intervene in the case of suicide. Participants don’t need any prior mental health training to attend the workshop—ASIST can be learned and used by anyone (minimum age to participate is 16). The certification training provides you with the tools to create positive outcomes when someone is feeling suicidal. Once you complete ASIST, the certification is valid for life. CEU Credits are available.

Who: Registration is open to the general public (Maximum 30 participants). Spaces are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis. For individuals newly entering the helping profession this is an opportunity to enhance your skills when working with individuals under distress.
