ASIST 11 Workshop English - 2 Day
LivingWorks ASIST is a 2 day, in-person suicide intervention and safety planning workshop for anyone 16+. Just like physical first aid has been made readily available to the general public, it's important suicide first aid is as well. Whether you're on a health and safety committee, a parent, a teacher, a friend, a manager, a co-worker...we'll teach you how to help someone breathe when they feel like life has taken their breath away.
Led by experienced trainer and mental health educator, Tammy Whelen, as well as TEDxUW speaker, and suicide interventionist, Shawna Percy, this is the place where you can build the hands-on collaborative safety planning skills to help a person save their own life.
