ASIST 11 Workshop English - 2 Day

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is being offered in Mid-MO to support creating a suicide safer community for all of us living in Mid-MO and else where. By creating a suicide safer community we are telling anyone at risk of suicide that we care about them and want to assist them in staying safe. ASIST teaches participant how to see signs "invitations" of suicide risk, how to ask someone at risk of suicide about suicide, how to listen to them, and how to turn them from thinking that suicide is the answer while helping them keep safe.
