ASIST Training for Trainers (T4T) 5 Day - English

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training for Trainers (T4T) ASIST T4T is a five-day course that helps trainer candidates begin learning how to effectively present the two-day ASIST workshop and bring life-saving intervention skills to their own organizations and communities. The course balances challenge and support while providing opportunities to practice and participate. Attending a T4T is a requirement for anyone wanting to facilitate LivingWorks’ ASIST program.

Before applying, all candidates must read the attached documents including : Essential Information for Candidates, Trainer Competencies, Goals and Objectives. All candidates must have attended the 2-day ASIST workshop within the past 2 years. (Please do not complete this online expression of interest if you do not meet this prerequisite).

Step 1- Application 

  1. The first step in the process to become an ASIST Trainer is to complete the following Application form.  US ASIST Application Form


Step 2 - Online consultation with your Regional Training Manager
Once we receive your completed application, the Regional Training Manager in your area will contact you to arrange an online consultation via ZOOM or Teams.

Once the consultation is completed and approved by the Regional Training Manager, you will be provided with a registration link to register for available T4Ts. 

Step 3 - Register and pay
Payment is required at the time of registration using the link provided. Registrations are on a first come, first served basis. The quickest way to secure your seat is by using a credit card at the time of registration. If paying by purchase order, please contact us at registration@livingworks.net to make arrangements. Official purchase order documents are required when making payment in this format and must be received in order to secure your seat.

NOTE: Cost does not include taxes (if applicable).   If your organization is tax exempt, please provide us with a tax exempt certificate prior to registering for a training. 


Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is made more than 10 business days prior to the start date of the T4T, the course fee will be refunded, less a ten percent (10%) non-refundable administration fee.

If cancellation is made within 10 business days of the start date of the T4T NO REFUND will be issued.  

NO SHOWS on Monday morning of the T4T without notification will not receive a refund.
