ASIST 11 Workshop English - 2 Day

ASIST: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

What is ASIST

ASIST is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may be at risk of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Although ASIST is widely used by healthcare providers, participants don’t need any formal training to attend the workshop, ASIST can be learned and used by anyone, and we welcome participants from all backgrounds.

How to Register

Contact Mira Ghossein (email below) to register for the workshop. Your spot in the training will only be secured once payment is received.

Payment method: e-transfer

Participant Materials

A workbook will be provided to all participants at the start of day 1. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will also receive ASIST stickers, a wallet card, and a certificate of completion. Please bring something to write with (e.g., pencil, pen).

Please note that after the registration deadline (June 27, 2022), any cancellations will be refunded less a $50 non-refundable deposit.
