Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (CSRTC staff only)
ASIST 11 Workshop English - 2 Day

This course is closed to the general public and is open to CSRTC staff only.*   Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first aid developed by the centre for suicide prevention.  ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Although ASIST is widely used by healthcare providers, participants don’t need any formal training to attend the workshop. This is not to be confused with Suicide Awareness and Prevention training.  This training is not mandatory and participants will be selected based on related experience and job role profile
